One shareable link. Guests click Yes, No, or Maybe. You see a real-time headcount instantly. No signup required from anyone — not you, not your guests.
Guests see three choices and click one. You see the running tally in real time.
✅
Yes
I'm attending — count me in
❌
No
I can't make it — sorry
🤔
Maybe
I'm not sure yet — I'll let you know
Traditional RSVPs — reply cards, email threads, phone calls — create friction for guests and spreadsheet chaos for organisers. An RSVP poll replaces all of that with one link, three clicks, and a live headcount.
Free tier: VoteGenerator's RSVP poll is free for events up to 100 guests. For larger events, Pro at $19/month raises the limit to 10,000 responses. Most parties, team events, and small weddings fall comfortably within the free tier.
When to Use an RSVP Poll
💍
Weddings & Engagements
Share via your wedding website, email, or a QR code on the save-the-date. Get a live headcount for catering before RSVP cards even arrive.
🎂
Parties & Gatherings
Birthday parties, holiday dinners, casual get-togethers. One WhatsApp message with the link handles the entire guest list.
🏢
Corporate Events
Team lunches, offsites, company parties. Share via Slack or email — employees confirm in one click without leaving whatever they were doing.
🎓
Alumni & Class Events
Reunions and alumni gatherings often involve scattered contacts. One link works across email, LinkedIn, and Facebook groups simultaneously.
🏘️
Community Events
Neighbourhood gatherings, volunteer meetups, community dinners. Estimate turnout for food and seating without a signup form.
💻
Virtual Events
Webinars, online panels, virtual classes. Confirm attendance so you know how many seats to set up in your video platform.
Choose RSVP from the 8 available poll types. It gives you the Yes / No / Maybe format built for event attendance.
3
Write your event question
Be specific about the event, date, and time — guests need to know what they are RSVPing to. "Will you attend the team offsite on October 12?" is better than "Are you coming?"
4
Set an RSVP deadline (optional)
Set the poll to auto-close on your deadline date. This creates urgency and saves you from chasing late responses manually.
5
Copy the link and share
Share via email, text, WhatsApp, Slack, or as a QR code. The link works on any device — guests click once and you see the count update in real time.
RSVP Message Templates
Copy the invitation message that fits your event and add your poll link. Each includes the RSVP question to use in VoteGenerator.

Tracking Your Responses
Real-time headcount
Your results URL shows a live "Yes: 45 / No: 12 / Maybe: 8" count that updates with every new response. Bookmark it and check whenever you like.
Percentage breakdown
Alongside counts, VoteGenerator shows percentages — "Yes: 69% / No: 18% / Maybe: 12%" — so you can read attendance likelihood at a glance.
PNG export — free
Download a chart image of your results at any time. Useful for sharing a visual summary with co-organisers or vendors.
CSV data export — paid
Raw response data download is available on the Pro plan ($19/month). For most events, the real-time count view covers all planning needs.
Share results with co-organisers
The results URL is shareable — send it to your co-planners so everyone sees the live count without bothering you for updates.
Create Your RSVP Poll
Under 60 seconds. No signup. Free for events up to 100 guests.
VoteGenerator's free tier allows up to 100 responses per poll. For events with more than 100 guests — larger weddings, corporate all-hands, or big community events — a Pro plan at $19/month raises the limit to 10,000 responses per poll.
Do guests need to sign up or create an account?
No. Guests click the link, see the three options (Yes / No / Maybe), click one, and they are done. No account, no email address, no download. This is the main reason RSVP polls get higher response rates than traditional RSVP forms.
Can I track who responded and who did not?
VoteGenerator's RSVP poll tracks the total count per option — how many Yes, No, and Maybe — but not individual names. It tells you "52 people said Yes" rather than "these 52 people." For events needing named responses (seating charts, name badges), combine the RSVP poll for quick headcount with a follow-up form asking for names.
Can someone change their RSVP after responding?
Yes. Guests who respond from the same device can change their response at any time — useful when plans change. Encourage guests to update their response if their availability changes rather than letting a "Yes" become a no-show.
How long should I leave the RSVP poll open?
Weddings: 4–6 weeks before the event. Corporate events: 2–3 weeks. Parties: 1–2 weeks. Set the poll to auto-close on your deadline — this creates a natural urgency and stops you from manually closing it. Send a reminder message 2–3 days before it closes.
Can I add more questions beyond Yes / No / Maybe?
RSVP polls are intentionally simple — one question, three answers. This is what makes them so fast for guests. For additional information (dietary requirements, plus-ones, song requests), use VoteGenerator's Survey poll type alongside the RSVP, or link to a separate form.
