## Rating Scales and Rating Charts

VoteGenerator supports several rating formats and renders results as live charts.

- **Rating scale polls**: voters rate one or more aspects on a 1–5 scale. Choose stars, hearts, thumbs, fire or smiley icons. You can rate several aspects in one poll — for example Service, Quality and Value each with their own scale.
- **Survey scale questions**: numeric scales with a configurable range — set any minimum and maximum, including the 0–10 range used for NPS, 1–10 opinion scales, or 1–5 satisfaction ratings.
- **NPS scoring**: 0–10 responses are automatically segmented into Promoters (9–10), Passives (7–8) and Detractors (0–6), with the Net Promoter Score calculated as Promoters% minus Detractors%.
- **Results display**: rating results appear as live bar charts, distribution charts and percentage breakdowns that update as responses arrive.
